Élan Hills Resort, Thekkady, Kerala, India

The Resort, located on the Kottayam-Kumaly State Highway, is very close to Kumaly Town which is the gateway to Thekkady. The wide frontage to the State Highway enables visitors to reach and check-in to the resort very easily. Situated on a beautiful hillock, the resort offers an incomparable opportunity to visitors to enjoy the natural beauty of the evergreen rainforests of South India. THE LOCATION. The Internationally known tourist spot Thekkady is located in Idukky District, Kerala. This famous  wild life sanctuary spread over an area of 777 Square K.M.s lies on an elevation of 914 mts. to 1028 mtrs. above sea level along the Periyar lake in the high ranges of Western Ghats.  Thekkady is famous for its Tiger Reserve which is one of those rare sanctuaries worldwide where one gets to observe the wild life in their natural habitat close from the safety and comfort of a boat seat.  The opportunity for  guided tours with the choice of visits to neighboring coffee, tea and spice plantations are just a dream come true for visiting tourists.
